Nueces County officials reported 99 new COVID-19 cases and one death Tuesday.
The new cases bring the county total to 19,845. There are 640 active cases. The new cases are under investigation to determine their transmission type.
Of the new cases, there were 64 confirmed positives and 35 were probable positives. There have been 15,506 confirmed positives and 4,339 probable positives since the onset of the pandemic.
Nueces County reported a man in his 70s died after contracting the virus, bringing the county total to 397.
There are 91 COVID-19 patients in the hospital. Twenty-nine of those patients are in the ICU. There have been 2,567 hospitalizations total.
There have been 18,808 recoveries.

The city of Corpus Christi website gives a breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the county. The genders are not included in the age range breakdown on the website.
