The Pharr Community Theater invites you to the Development Research Center located at 850 W Dicker Rd, Pharr, this Saturday, October 2, at either 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. (two shows) for the final performances of 4 short plays, back-to-back, in Spanish. 

The four skits include two historical monologues based on Mexico’s Independence from Spain, written by Wendy B. Lara & Mercedes Varela Garcia; the third skit is based on the Mexican Revolution by Rosario Castellanos and the final skit culminates with a contemporary comedy by Pete Romero. 

The four short plays, back-to-back, with no intermission have a duration of approximately 80 minutes and are appropriate for all ages.

There is no cover charge, and no tickets are needed. Chairs will be spaced indoors at the center and there is seating for nearly 100 spectators. Covid safety is encouraged.
