2. Downtown Austin Community Court temporarily relocated operations to One Texas Center at 505 Barton Springs Road on Aug. 30. The DACC, which offers case management to people experiencing homelessness, will operate from One Texas Center for around two years while a new long-term location is identified and prepared. 3. Floor Centers of Texas moved to 7120 Burnet Road, Austin, on Sept. 1 after nine years in its East Austin location. 4. Fortress Shoes relocated its flagship store to a new space at 417 E. 43rd St., Austin, this summer. Previously located on South First Street, Fortress Shoes sells fair-trade leather footwear handmade in Peru. 6. Teacher Retirement System of Texas announced Sept. 17 it will move its agency headquarters away from downtown Austin in a move that will save TRS members’ pension trust fund an estimated $15 million over the next 20 years. TRS will relocate away from its 1000 Red River St., Austin, space to the Mueller business district at 1900 Aldrich St. by 2023. www.trs.texas.gov

7. Nondenominational Christian church The Vine moved services to the Texas Federation of Women’s Club Mansion in July. Now located at 2312 San Gabriel St., Austin, The Vine launched in 2016 out of South Austin’s Mercury Hall. www.thevineaustin.org
