KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Looking to continue its strong start in conference play, the 20th-ranked Tennessee volleyball team welcomes Texas A&M to Rocky Top for a two-match series beginning Saturday.
Saturday’s first serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET with first serve on Sunday coming at 1 p.m.
For fans planning to attend, note that Tennessee’s clear-bag policy will be in effect again this season.
Though not required for entry to Thompson-Boling Arena or movement throughout the seating bowl, facial coverings are encouraged for arena patrons. For a full outline of match-day arena policies, click HERE.
Saturday’s match is available for streaming on SEC Network+ with Andy Brock (play-by-play) and Heather Harrington (color) describing the action. Sunday’s matchup will air on SEC Network and Eric Frede (play-by-play) and Jenny Hazelwood (color) will call the action.

LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee swept Auburn Wednesday night as it began league play 3-0 for the first time since 2011. It was the third consecutive match UT has swept the Tigers. UT has swept Auburn in four of the last five meetings.
At 11-2, UT is off to its best start since beginning the 2015 season 14-0. The Orange & White are 3-0 in SEC play for the first time since 2011. The 2011 squad went on to finish the year 28-4 overall and 19-1 in conference play.
The 2011 Lady Vol team won the SEC title that season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
TOPS IN THE SEC
The Lady Vols enter the weekend in first place in the conference. In addition to leading the league, UT ranks first in the SEC in assists per set (13.39), kills per set (14.80) and blocks per set (3.02). The Big Orange ranks second in opponent hitting percentage (.146) and digs per set (16.14).
UT ranks third nationally in kills per set, fourth in assists per set and fifth in blocks per set.
Tennessee is 7-0 this season when it hits .250 or better, and during Eve Rackham Watt‘s three seasons on Rocky Top, UT is 43-3 when it eclipses the .250 hitting mark. Under Rackham Watt, the Lady Vols are 49-5 when they win the second set.

Series Record: Texas A&M leads, 10-9
Last Meeting: Sept. 29, 2019 – A five-set win for the Lady Vols.
Key Player/Stat: The Aggies come to Knoxville 2-0 in conference play and tied with Kentucky for second place in the SEC. Texas A&M is second in the league in both kills (14.26) and assists per set (13.21), while it leads the conference in digs per set (16.98).
Morgan Christon leads Texas A&M with an average of 3.68 kills per set, while Lauren Davis is second on the team at 3.43. Camille Connor runs the show with 10.63 assists per set this season.
Tennessee goes on the road for the first time in SEC play as it travels to Columbia, South Carolina, for a two-match series against the Gamecocks Oct. 8-9.
