Kylie Jenner‘s latest business venture is drowning in bad reviews.
Jenner’s swim line, dubbed Kylie Swim, was first announced in August and the 24 year old enlisted a diverse group of models to tease the designs on the brand’s Instagram account ahead of the Sept. 17 release. The line includes five different swimsuits ranging from one-pieces to bikinis, sarong coverups and three “mini swim” bathing suits sized for toddlers. Prices of the Kylie Swim line ranges from $40 to $85.
Now that orders have been fulfilled for those waiting to get their hands on the latest designs from the influencer and media personality, the reviews have not been positive.
“Every kylie swim review i’ve seen is bad.. so glad i didnt buy a set,” @leaahrenae tweeted.
USA TODAY reached out to reps for Kylie Swim and Jenner for comment.
“I would show you these on but I literally can’t because they are just not it,” TikTok user @kindredl said in her review. “I wasn’t expecting the material to be so thin that it just shows everything.”
“I get better swimsuits at Target,” she added.
According to the brand’s website, returns can be made 14 days after delivery as long as products “are in new, unworn condition and with all original tags and hygienic liners attached.”
“For me it comes down to lack of integrity as a business owner,” TikTok user @tinytello said in her review of the “August” suit. “When you put something out you want people who are spending their hard-earned money on it to be a good high-quality product, and the fact that they gave this the thumbs up is really concerning to me.”
“I’ll probably take this on my next vacation … I probably won’t get in the pool because like I said it is see-through,” beauty influencer @makeupshayla said. “I just hope for the next drop it is double lined because honey, you can’t get wet in this.”
The swimwear comes after Jenner released a cosmetic line in 2015 and a skincare line in 2019. Along with the recent swim line she also released a baby care line Tuesday coined Kylie Baby.
“These Kylie swim reviews are baddddd, she needs to do better because who in their right mind will want to buy Kylie baby,” one Twitter user wrote.
