Laredo College and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) will enter into two agreements to facilitate the admissions process and a seamless transfer of courses for Laredo College and UTRGV students.
The goal of these agreements is to ensure that students who intend to complete their degree at UTRGV have an option to start at Laredo College under the joint admissions agreement. In addition, the agreements also ensure the transferability of courses from both institutions with the intent that courses taken at Laredo College will count toward specifically identified degree requirements at UTRGV.
LC President Dr. Minita Ramírez and UTRGV President Guy Bailey will officially sign the agreement and solidify the importance of this momentous new partnership alongside dignitaries from both institutions.
