SAN ANTONIO, TX – Driven by a long-standing commitment to community, employees and members, Security Service Federal Credit Union announced a new leadership role focused on community and volunteerism.  

Brandy Ralston-Lint has been named senior vice president of community and media relations. With more than 29 years of experience in communications, media and charitable giving, Ms. Ralston-Lint will work to further enhance the Credit Union’s purpose, brand and contribution to communities.

“Our commitment to community is engrained in everything we do,” said Jim Laffoon, president and CEO of Security Service Federal Credit Union. “This new role will help us expand our involvement and deepen our commitment to helping those smaller non-profits providing for the basic needs of families in our communities.”

Through this role, Ms. Ralston-Lint will oversee the Security Service Charitable Foundation, the employee and family Volunteer Corps and community specific campaigns and projects. 

“At a time when so many families are struggling to get by in our communities, the work of non-profit agencies has never been more vital than now,” said Brandy Ralston-Lint, senior vice president of community and media relations. “Working collaboratively with those agencies and the media, we look to strengthen our impact of giving back.”

The Security Service Charitable Foundation has donated more than $2.3 million to non-profit organizations in Texas, Colorado and Utah since its inception in 2007. The Security Service Volunteer Corps is comprised of employees and family members and donates approximately six thousand hours of community service each year.
