On July 21, 2023, the Cameron County Park Ranger Division responded to an auto pedestrian accident southbound on County Beach Access #5, according to the Cameron County Sherrif’s office. In addition, the accident happened on a restricted “no vehicular traffic” area.
The news release with information pertaining to this incident stated that at the scene, a female was found laying down on the floor with severe bodily injury. After a preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the female had been struck by her boyfriend’s vehicle. The boyfriend was identified as Rolando Jaeden Alejandro, 20 years old.
After further investigation, two warrants for AGGRAVATED ASSAULT DATE/HOUSEHOLD MEMBER W/WEAPON and AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/DEADLY WEAPON have been issued for Alejandro by the Cameron County Park Ranger Division.
