With Fall now in season, pumpkin patches and fall festivals are starting to be seen all over the valley. One place in particular here in La Feria puts fun into fall. They are called the T-Ranch, which was founded by Joe and Christina Trevino. The Trevino’s are accompanied by their three daughters Samantha, Andrea, Sarah, and son Christian. The Trevino’s began the T-Ranch Pumpkin Patch back in 2019. The ranch, which was once a 75-acre working cattle ranch, has now grown into the largest pumpkin patch in South Texas and has over 40,000 visitors each year. Their fully stocked pond enhances the beauty of the ranch and sets them apart from other pumpkin patches in the Rio Grande Valley. There are several activities for both kids and adults to enjoy while at the ranch. Some of those activities include paint-a-pumpkin, visiting with many of the farm animals that they have, tractor hayrides, tic-tac-toe, giant Jenga, horseshoe, checkers, corn hole, corn pit, a huge hay mountain plus much more. There are also multiple photo opportunities all over the ranch. From taking photos at the pumpkin house, the giant chair, to all the one-of-a-kind photo displays all over the ranch. Back in 2021 was the first year they brought live bands into the mix, and they now have a band playing every Saturday for the month of October. A beer and wine bar were added a year later so adults could purchase and enjoy refreshing varieties of brews and wine. Especially their craft pumpkin beer which is perfect for the fall season. The ranch also has food and artisan vendors every Saturday & Sunday during the Month of October. Christina mentioned that it has always been a dream to bring the feel of fall to the valley and now her dream has become a reality. The T-Ranch is located at 25492 North FM 2556 in La Feria.
