PHARR, Texas – In an effort to provide students, families, and community members a safe space to partake in Halloween festivities while simultaneously bringing awareness to the importance of living a drug-free life, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District (PSJA ISD) held its first-ever Trunk or Treat Bash on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the PSJA Stadium.

The theme of the event was “Say Boo to Drugs” in connection to the district’s 2023 Red Ribbon Campaign activities. Through this event as well as many others during the month of October, PSJA ISD emphasized efforts to educate students and staff about the dangers of drug usage while uniting the tri-city communities for the cause.
