EDINBURG, Texas – The end of an era, but the start of something new! The City of Edinburg will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Edinburg Service Center on Friday, April 5, 2024, as construction on a modern facility begins.

For almost 50 years, the original building housed both the Public Works Department and the Utilities Department on Doolittle Road. Demolition of the Edinburg Service Center began in mid-March and represents a significant milestone in the city’s progress and growth.
