South Texas College’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology program is set to hold its annual National Manufacturing Day event dedicated to showcasing modern careers in industry.

STC joins the thousands of companies and education institutions around the nation that are opening their doors to students through guided tours of their facilities in the afternoon.

STC Advanced Manufacturing students, staff and faculty, South Texas Manufacturing Association Executive Director Mike Willis, along with representatives from Fox Packaging and GE Aerospace will be in attendance for the morning event. Carlos Ascencio, senior manufacturing staff manager with GE Aerospace will be the keynote speaker during the morning portion of the event.
