EDINBURG, Texas– The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and City of Edinburg are thrilled to kick-off the holiday season with the highly anticipated Night of Lights Parade. This event is set to illuminate Downtown Edinburg on the evening of Friday, December 6, 2024, starting at 7 P.M. Spectators may enjoy an evening of dazzling parade floats and entertainment as this year’s theme is “Country Christmas”. With an expected surge of attendees, event organizers are gearing up to welcome thousands of visitors to this exciting FREE event.

| Citizens may expect road closures on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 6 P.M. on South Closner Blvd between Canton St and Schunior Rd. |
| The roads will remain closed to vehicular traffic until the conclusion of the Night of Lights parade. |
| Parade Route |
| The parade route will start at Richard Flores Stadium moving north on Closner Blvd and will end one block north of the Hidalgo County Courthouse. |
| Starts at Richard Flores Stadium located on Mark Pena Dr. |
| Exit Tourist Dr. on to S. Closner Blvd |
| Northbound on S. Closner Blvd to W Cano St. |
| Westbound on to W Cano St. |
| Moving North on S. 10th Ave. |
| Turning to E. McIntyre St. |
| Northbound N. Closner Blvd. |
| The parade will end at north side of the Hidalgo County Courthouse |
