Quite a party of rowdies broke into the Military Guard house Sunday night. We saw them come forth in the morning, a beaten and bruised looking set. We didn’t learn whether or not they continued their fight after being put in the guard house. (The Daily Ranchero (Brownsville, TX.) January 14, 1868)

Warnings Have Been Sent To All Parts Of The CountryNotification has been sent out to all parts of the United States by the Secret Service, Warning financial institutions against a number of dangerous counterfeits. A number of dangerous counterfeits.
