SpaceX scrubbed the first flight of its newest generation of Starship/Super Heavy due to the ground crew’s inability to successfully troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within an allowable window for the launch.

Flight 12 was officially scrubbed at 6:40 p.m. Starship S39 is stacked atop Super Heavy B19 for the flight. Both vehicles have been completely redesigned from the previous versions.

It’s not clear whether SpaceX will attempt the launch on Friday. The company has announced backup dates for Flight 12 of Friday and May 26-30.
