The San Benito Chamber of Commerce is preparing for an evening of casino-style entertainment, live music, and community fundraising as its annual Casino Night returns on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the Oak Hill Event Center in San Benito.

The event features casino games, dinner, live performances, raffles, and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting Chamber operations and programs that support local businesses and students.

San Benito Chamber of Commerce Board Chairwoman Velma De Los Santos said the organization relies on membership dues, support from local businesses, and three major annual fundraising events to sustain its operations.

“Our membership is the foundation of our organization, and the support we receive from our annual events enables us to continue offering valuable programs and opportunities throughout the year,” De Los Santos said.

Last year’s Casino Night drew about 480 guests, nearly reaching the venue’s 500-person capacity.

This year, organizers are planning a Las Vegas-inspired experience featuring a San Antonio tribute artist who is scheduled to perform three 30-minute sets. The San Benito High School Jazz Band will also perform during dinner.

Beyond entertainment, De Los Santos emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to education and economic development.

The organization awarded seven scholarships this year, expanding a program that originally supported two or three recipients. The Chamber hopes to continue expanding scholarship opportunities for students at San Benito High School, IDEA Public Schools and Triumph.

The Chamber is also working with the Small Business Administration to host a series of free workshops for local entrepreneurs.

In partnership with the City of San Benito and its Economic Development Corporation, the initiative aims to connect small businesses with information on available resources, funding opportunities, and business development.

“When local businesses support our events, we can reinvest those funds into programs and services that benefit our entire community,” said De Los Santos.

Casino Night tickets cost $50 per person and include dinner, $150 in casino play money, two drink tickets, and entertainment.

Attendees can enter raffles featuring gift baskets donated by local businesses and bid on select silent-auction items.

A special raffle offers participants a chance to win an Yves Saint Laurent cross-body purse valued at $1,690. Each raffle ticket costs $20.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses interested in supporting the event.

The event will be held at the Oak Hill Event Center, 1780 U.S. Highway 77, in San Benito. Doors open at 6 p.m., and casino games begin at 6:30 p.m.

According to De Los Santos, “Together, we are building a stronger business community and creating opportunities for future generations.”
